About us

Who we are

We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand can raise a child and create a better future for them.

We started extending help to needy children and youth who were eager to study and work for a better life. This moment intensified when we found that there were many such underprivileged children who needed help with food, shelter and education. Our team expanded and we spread out in different regions to make sure we cover all possible areas and help as many children as possible.

We now run shelter homes, schools and a reasonable mess that helps such needy young people. We also have our helpline offices spread throughout the country so one can approach us anytime they need help.

Peter is the President of Peter Elvin Ministries and Pastor at Shalom Church, India. He was born in a Hindu family in a small village called Peddavadlapudi, Andhra Pradesh, a central province of South India. Peter’s family used to worship idols and one day he heard a street evangelist preaching that Jesus Christ could transform lives. Disgusted with his own life Peter prayed to Jesus if you can lead me away from this miserable life and make me a new person then I’ll serve you for the rest of my life. God heard his prayers and changed him into a whole new person. Due to his word, Peter began to preach Christ Crucified at the tender age of 17, and by God’s leading, he started PEM (Peter Elvin Ministries) when he was just 19. Peter is serving alongside his father in Shalom Church, India which is purely bible based and a mission-focused church where the un-compromised word of God is the final authority. God started to use this young man of God to bring revival wherever he went, and he traveled to more than 4 countries to share the message of salvation. Peter is doing his Master’s at Moody Bible Institute, Chicago. It’s Peter’s vision to see “Blood Washed India” for Jesus; more than 1.8 billion people should know the redemptive work of Christ in their lives before he dies. He always believes that “God doesn’t call the qualified, he qualifies the called” and the God who called HE faithful.

He started Shalom Church, India on January 3, 1999, to glorify God with 2 people and now God has blessed his ministry with more than 600 believers. God has blessed him with a beautiful wife name Rani with two sons Peter and Shalom, who are currently helping him with his ministry and serving alongside his father. Francis was jailed more than 7 times because of sharing God’s word in Muslim and Hindu communities.
